UNION Minister for Labour & Employment, Mallikarjun Kharge, has
expressed the hope that the ongoing dialogue and cooperation between Ministry of
Labour & Employment, Government of India and the US Department of Labour,
would be further be enhanced by the signing of a MoU today.
He
recently interacted with a large and broad-based gathering of the
Indian-American community in Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) metropolitan area at a
function organized by the Indian American Friendship Council (IAFC) and India
Association of North Texas (IANT), in cooperation with Consulate General of
India, Houston.The Minister highlighted Government of India's major initiatives
and schemes for poverty alleviation, universalization of elementary education,
skill development, social welfare of workers and employment generation.
