STUNG by criticism that healthcare companies have been using complex schemes to avoid paying taxes, Swedish Finance Minister Anders Borg yesterday announced that the Govt is ready with plans to plug loopholes in the tax code. The Minister at a Press Meet said that the new law will make it harder for companies to take undue benefit of interest deductions. According to Mr Borg, the new law could come into force as early as January 2013.
