AS per the Tax Justice Network, the Swiss Govt's decision to levy
withholding tax on untaxed British funds may finlly yeild only a fraction of
anticipated revenue to the UK treasury.
In an
e-statement, the Network is reported to have said that the UK may recover just
10% of between USD 7 bn envisaged by the bilateral treaty. It may finally turn
out to be 'revenue-negative', it adds.
