Pak Chief Justice instrument in garnering Rs 100 bn tax revenue: FM By TII News Service Dec 14, 2011 , Islamabad
GIVING credit to the judiciary, the Pak Finance Minister, Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh has said that sustained and speedy clearance of high revenue cases by Pak Chief Justice has helped Govt garner additional revenue of Rs 100 bn. He also stressed that some of the major challenges faced by the economy are fiscal deficits, buoyance in tax mop-up and active role of private sector in shoring up the economic growth.
