INDIA has prescribed a few more conditions
for foreign nationals seeking work related visa in case of a change of
employer in India.
The
key changes are as follows:
+
permission to be granted only if the non-resident holds skilled ranks
+
the change should be between the registered holding and its subsidiary
+
between the subsidiaries of a registered holding
For
other categories of cases, one would be required to go back to home country
and obtain a fresh employment visa in the name of new employer.
It
has been clarified that the change of employer will be allowed only once
during the five years tenure of the original Employment Visa.
