THE
global economy could be hampered by the political turmoil in 2012 that is being
expected by over 50% global experts, according to the World Economic Forum (WEF)
survey. The Global Confidence index conducted by the WEF has indicated that
there is a major fear of geopolitical disruption in the year 2012 which could
move to usher the global economy into the wrong direction . A consistent 60% of
respondents said that they lacked confidence in the state of global governance,
signaling little trust in political leadership to deal with global risks.
