TO jump-start the sagging US economy the former US President Bill
Clinton has said that there is a need to extend the Bush Tax Cuts. Such a
position is contrary to the official stand of President Obama. Mr Clinton
reportedly told a TV Channel that Republicans wanted a permanent extension but
Obama should not accept such a demand.
The
Bush tax cuts were enacted in 2001 and 2003, and are scheduled to lapse next
year.
