THE aggressive tax planning has earned brickbats for Google. As per media reports, a Member of the Treasury Select Committee has termed the payment of six million pound on a total turnover of 395 mn pound as 'entirely improper and immoral'.

Public criticism has grown in decibel after it was revealed that the Google undertook a series of transactions to move its money into the well known tax haven Bermuda and paid minimal tax in the UK. A signature campaign launched four days back has collected 45000 signatures seeking 'fair share' from Google to the exchequer.
