Tax Haven Status: Swiss Govt to go for referendum By TII News Service Nov 23, 2012 , Geneva
ON the issue of tax haven satus the Swiss Govt has decided to go for a national referendum. The Federal Council has announced that those who are in favour of the law change have obtained more than 1 lakh signatures. It is reported that the referendum is likely to take place in the next two months. If such a move succeeds it may affect about 5000 foreign taxpayers.
