AFTER Germany India has
inked the Social Security Agreement (SSA) with Canada. Such agreements
are aimed at helping mobile employees from shouldering double burden of
social security contributions.
As
per the latest SSA with Canada, exemption has been granted to employees
from paying such payments in the host country. If their contract is for
five years and if they obtain a certificate of coverage, they are not required
to pay in the host country.
