IN a joint statement, the
Indian President, Mr Pranab Mukherjee, and the Mauritian Prime Minister,
Mr Ramgoolam, have said that both the countries have found some 'common
ground' and will be holding more rounds of talks in April to sort out the
DTAA issues.
The
next meeting is going to be held in New Delhi, and both the countries are
hopeful that they might work out the finer aspects of amendments in the
DTAA.
Mr
Mukherjee, on his arrival on Monday, was accorded red-carpet welcome and
the ceremonial 21-gun salute.
