THE latest OECD-FAO Agriculture Outlook will be published on Friday 17
June. The report analyses agriculture production, discusses how global markets
are reacting to high price volatility in both food and commodity markets and
looks at farm sector trends for the coming decade.OECD Secretary-General Angel
Gurría and FAO Director General Jacques Diouf will present the report during a
briefing in Paris
Mr
Gurría and Mr. Diouf will also discuss a new inter-agency report, coordinated by
OECD and the FAO, on price volatility in food and agricultural commodity markets
for the G20. The report was presented in early-June to the French G20 presidency
and will be discussed during a meeting of agriculture ministers 22-23 June in
Paris.
