India to host 14th Annual Meeting of Asia-Pacific Group on money-laundering By TII News Service Jul 15, 2011 , New Delhi
THE Government of India will host the 14th Annual Meeting and 10th Annual Technical Assistance and Training Forum of the Asia-Pacific Group (APG) on Money Laundering at the Le Meridien Hotel, Kochi (Cochin), Kerala from 18th to 22nd July 2011. The Union Finance Minister, Mr Pranab Mukherjee, would make the opening address on 19th July, 2011. The APG Co-Chairs for this meeting are Mr K Jose Cyriac, Secretary to the Government of India; and Commissioner Tony Negus, Australian Federal Police. More than 300 senior government officials from the Asia/Pacific region and around the world are expected to attend this event, including Pranab Mukherjee and Giancarlo Del Bufalo of Italy, President of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
