GOOGLE Ireland is reported to have made good of 'Double Irish' and
routed its revenue from Ireland to Bermuda, a tax haven. Double Irish is a legal
scheme which allows profits of a MNC, which can be routed to a tax haven without
being liable to corporation tax in Ireland.
Google Ireland is reported to have paid only about USD 2.6 mn in
corporate tax last fiscal, although it reported more than USD 13 bn
turnover.
